Kids Camp Syllabus
Kids will be broken up into the following groups:
  - small kids
  - beginner youth
  - advanced youth
     
The day will be organized as follows:
  - morning:
    - general horse knowledge, round pen work, reining
  - afternoon:
    - cutting, roping, cow horse, barrels, etc.
     
Different topics will include:
  - reining (beginner to advanced; bridle less)
  - cutting (beginners on a flag; advanced riders on cattle)
  - round pen basics (training what every rider should know)
  - trail riding (safety)
  - roping:
    - beginners will use goats to practice stake heeling & team roping
    - advanced riders will use burrows and steers to practice heading/healing, steer roping
    - there will also be calves for calf roping, breakaway roping
  - cow horse instruction for advanced riders
  - barrels for all riders
  - horse knowledge:
    - horse types (personality, attitude, feel, nervous system, athleticism, etc.)
    - tack
    - trailer loading for difficult horses
    - bits/spurs (correct uses in different stages of training, corrections, etc.
